We design experiences that bring life to retail, event, exhibition, living and working spaces. We build environments and everything within them from furniture to lighting, floor to ceiling,
inside and out.

The places that we inhabit have the ability to convey clear messages, awaken the senses and create vivid memories. Our approach weaves these emotional interactions throughout the strategic design of each project. We can turn a retail space into a playground of exploration and information, or we can increase the efficiency of an office space while stimulating its workforce. With our NONlimited product line, we constantly develop furniture and objects that carry on a dialogue with their surroundings. These meaningful relationships between people and the objects and spaces that they use are the defining elements of our work.

Scott graduated with Distinction from Art Center College of Design with a B.S. in Environmental Design.  His work experience includes exhibition, furniture, product, branding and interactive design, as well as fabrication and project/production management.  Scott also teaches design studios and workshops at Art Center College of Design.

MIAO MIAO,

PRINCIPAL

Born in Shenyang, China, Miao attended California State University, Northridge where she earned her B.S. in Interior design.  Prior to co-founding NONdesigns, she worked in retail and residential interior design.  In addition to her role in the studio, she practices fashion design and teaches environmental, branding and lighting design at Art Center College of Design’s Public Programs Department.
